About

Hi! I’m a lifelong reader and endlessly curious explorer of stories and ideas.

In 2019, I started jotting down everything I’d read and watched each month, just to keep track. What surprised me was how much meaning I found in the patterns—how a line from a book or a scene from a film would echo in my own life, sometimes months later. That’s when I realized: reflecting on stories is almost as important as experiencing them.

This site is is my corner of the internet for wandering through stories, books, movies, and the curious corners of life—reflecting on what we read, watch, and wonder about, and how it all shapes who we are.

What You’ll Find Here:

  • Reflections on what I’m reading and watching—from sci-fi and fantasy to literary fiction, history, and beyond—and why these stories stick with us
  • Essays on the big (and small) ideas that stories spark: meaning, hope, friendship, adventure, and more
  • Honest takes on how fiction and pop culture connect to real life
  • Curated recommendations, lists, and roundups for the curious reader or viewer
  • Occasional thoughts on learning, creativity, and following your curiosity wherever it leads

Why “Reading, Watching, Etc.”?

The name comes from a monthly reflection habit, where I look back on everything I’ve read, watched, or discovered and what it’s meant to me. This site is an open invitation to join in that habit—to explore stories, ideas, and the unexpected places curiosity can take us.

Who Is This For?

If you’re someone who loves stories, enjoys learning, or just wants to see where curiosity leads, you’ll feel at home here.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I’m here to share what I’m discovering, what’s resonated (or hasn’t), and the questions I’m still exploring.

Let’s explore stories, ideas, and the curious corners of life—together.
